I ordered the newest Vapir one (April 05) and I can give a REAL..not *beep* testimony. Yo VAPIR, your product is amazing and it will speak for itself, stop making up phony posts!
OK so here is my REAL 100% SOLID opinion on the newest corded Vapir. Leaving it set at 250 F will not produce much for steam like vapors, it will also not usually give you a vapor you can see, except the first couple puffs.
The whole process will be completed in about 15 minutes, and you will be nicely vapor. Wink But if you are expecting to have smoke, or constant visible vapors, or a burning feeling in your lungs like with a "cig" at that 250 setting, you will be disappointed. Its all about getting the happy without getting the crap into your lungs.
The flavor of the herb is amazing. The first few puffs are the best naturally. If your herb turns brown then you are cooking the *beep* not vaporizing it properly. Puff on it til you can't taste your herb no more.
10 minutes, the unit will shut off, turn it back on for another 5 minutes (full bowl) and you will get another 5 mins at least of nice vapors. When you are done, (10 to 15 mins) you will notice that the flavor is also gone. Your herb might still be bright green, thats OK, toss it, its the equivalent of washed herb (herbs used to make herb oil) you won't get another happy moment from it.
Again if the herb is brown, you burnt it. Raising the temperature to always get a visible vapor will only release bad stuff into your lungs.
Be patient, inhale slowly, enjoy the lack of coughing up a lung, and sit back and enjoy the smooth clear happy zone.

hot tip - Keep piece of apple or potato in your herb bag, to keep it moist. Do it a couple of days before use. Storing the herbs moist for extended period is likely to attract mold or fungal growth and render it unusable
