Pour several cups of water
from the bucket into the orange bag (xx) to help
dislodge any trichomes that may still be stuck in the plant mass.
Before removing the orange bag (xx), squeeze remaining
water into the yellow bag (xxx). |
 |
 |
|
While waiting for the yellow
bag (xxx) to drain, run the cold tap water strongly
into the orange bag (xx) to rinse any green plant
matter stuck to the trichomes.
Only the plant matter will be washed through the mesh leaving the
trichomes behind. Squeeze out remaining water from the orange bag
(xx) and use the plastic card to scrape the final
product into the center of the mesh. |
 |
|
|
| Fold the bag to form a pouch with the mesh, lay
it on the dish towel, fold back the dish towel to sandwich the mesh
pouch, then roll with a rolling pin or bottle. Move the pouch to a
dry spot and repeat. |

|
Now roll with a rolling
pin or bottle. Move the pouch to a dry spot on the towel and repeat.
*Over-rolling the product will remove too much moisture, making
it difficult to press into a ball and may turn to dust. |

|
|
| Now use the plastic card
to remove the product. |
 |
|
|
h) Place it into your palm, squeeze
and press to form a nice little ball or cone. As you press, the product
will become darker as the oil is released from the broken trichomes.
To remove the last little fraction of moisture, flatten the ball and
put it in the freezer. Any moisture left will appear on the surface
where it can be wiped off with a paper towel.
** As you press the product moisture will appear in the palm
of your hands. Squeeze as much moisture out of the product as possible.
This will help the ball to stick together.
*** Warm on a hot plate or in the palm of your palm of your
hand by pressing it back into a ball. |
